I'm not much of a sale shopper because I dislike large crowds and messy stores during a sale but when I'm in the mood, I will rummage through when there's not that many people around.
I parked in front of Coach on Burrard as I was visiting PN @ LV and decided to "pop in" to just take a look. BC was with me and we were going around the store in circles just "looking" when I finally stopped by the "sales" table which was over piled with clutches, purses, belts, dog collars, scarves, etc...
It wasn't until I saw the sale price for the belt... $19 that I finally reached out and tried one and then two... got it.
Then I left the table and walked over to BC over on the new arrival side when a sales lady walked up to us and said, "there's a couple of purses in the back that's getting marked down now, would you like to take a look?!" Sure.
She brought out the purse and it's your typical Coach signature Hobo style purse with blue straps. The original retail price for this purse was $349.00. The mark down price was $59!!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? The sales lady asked, "do you want it??!" UH, DUH!!
So... Coach Belt $19
Coach Purse $59
Parking $15 (meter parking...ouch!)

It's 2009!
I can't believe how much it is snowing outside.
ODLP said that the snow won't last past new years ~ I was going to make a bet but saved those thoughts to myself.
The last couple of days, I find myself looking at friends NYE party photo's on FB and it's ... I just miss those days - But I would never trade up my kids. Although, it would have been nice to be among friends again. I haven't celebrated NY's or my birthday for years. I'm not complaining, perhaps I'm just trying to come to realize how much change has happened in my life.
I can't believe it ~ they are almost 2 years old! 2007 was a blur. I don't think I remembered much of it - I don't think I slept through it. All I have are pictures... pictures to remind me of how precious they were and how far they've come since the day they were born. I have been thinking a lot of baby #3 but it's not in our best interest at this time, plus what if I have another set of twins?! The first time... I had bragging rights but if by chance it happened again?! I think that's why we're not gung ho about the idea.
I hope that we'll get around to finishing up the reno. work this year!! This is it... Year of the Ox.
